Every morning, Mr. Roy sends out encouraging texts. I got on the list, because my mom was sending me some, and finally told me to ask him to add me. I look forward to them every day. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are thought provoking. And today’s I felt like my corner of the world needed to read.
I have struggled with letting go of my mistakes (even those perceived mistakes). I hold on to shame and guilt. But when framed like this, it changes my perspective. It alleviates the pressure I place on myself to be perfect and means I can breathe a little easier. After all, we must “learn from our mistakes,” right?!
