“If you aren’t telling your story, someone else will.” -Kevin Brown
For the third time in my adult life, I started a new job today. (Well, officially started since I’ve been doing it since February.) And my first day was surrounded by some of the best school communications directors in the country. It was intimidating and inspiring.
Today, I officially began my role as the Digital Media and Marketing Manager of the El Dorado School District.
As I begin this new journey, I pray that I can stay focused on my goals, not let my perfectionism/control issues take hold, lead with kindness, guide with confidence, and give myself grace when I mess up.
Most importantly, I pray I tell the story, our school district’s story. That I do it justice. That everyone else sees what I see, feels what I feel when they think about ESD: a place to call home.
